Please do not post photos and videos of His Divine Grace Srila Gurudeva’s body after his entering nitya-lila

Please all accept my humble obeisances, my dandavat pranams. Millions of obeisances to the lotus feet of Nitya-lila Om Visnupada Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja, Gurudeva, and the same unto the lotus feet of Nitya-lila Om Visnupada Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja, Prabhupada; and to all pure gurus in our Gaudiya line.
I do not wish to dictate to others, or to find fault with anyone. My statements may certainly be taken with whatever degree of regard as one feels they are worth.
Sharing His Divine Grace Srila Gurudeva’s recent samadhi ceremony online with devotees who could not physically be there is very good, and certainly an honorable and wonderful service, however displaying Srila Gurudeva’s transcendental body on the internet after he has entered nitya lila is certainly improper. I humbly request all devotees not to do this anymore. Srila Gurudeva’s has said that it is inauspicious to see types of pictures and videos.
“Gurudeva refused to look at pics of Prabhupada taken after he had left, that I wanted to show him. He turned his face to avoid seeing them, saying it was highly inauspicious. I asked him about the movie Iskcon had produced about his samadhi and he said it was not to be seen either.” His Holiness BV Suddhadvaiti Swami
As I said I do not mean to fault anyone, and I know those who have been sharing these things love Srila Gurudeva, but we must try to understand his moods and example carefully, and then act according to that understanding.
I remember that I personally would never look at any of these types of photos or videos of Srila Prabhupada’s transcendental body after his entering nitya-lila, for many years after his departure. A few years ago I finally tried to view the video of Srila Gurudeva placing His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada into samadhi, just so I would see that transcendental pastime between these two maha-bhagavat vaishnavas, but I could not bare it and turned it off, never to see it again. Later I read the above account of Srila Gurudeva’s mood regarding this video and knew why I had this reaction. I will therefore myself, not look at these pictures or videos of Srila Gurudeva’s body since his entering nitya-lila and why I am humble requesting others not to post them publicly, out of respect for our beloved Gurudeva and his transcendental moods.
